Fans Project Universe Bruticus Add-ons: Crossfire sets

Fans Project just keeps it coming with these amazing original customs. They are designed not only enhance Hasbro / Takara Tomy released figures, but also to transform into new original figures that, in my opinion, are worthy to be part of the real Transformers line. See their Classics Ultra Magnus add-on, for example.

Check out these new upcoming “Crossfire” sets A and B. They combine with the Transformers Universe 25th Anniversary Bruticus Maximus combiner set to form a much more authentic-looking, G1-styled update of Bruticus. The two “Crossfire” figures look pretty cool on their own as well. They replace two figures from the Universe set that would form the right arm and right leg of Bruticus – the Shuttle (Blast Off), and the Jeep (Swindle).

Amazing Optimus and Bumblebee lawn displays for Halloween

This family in Cleveland has got skills! 8 months of work total went into these bad boys. If you’re in Ohio for Halloween, make sure to be on the lookout for two 15+ foot tall robots!

This year for our Halloween display, we built two Transformers for our front yard. One is Optimus Prime, 17ft tall and the other is Bumblebee, 12ft tall. We live in Cleveland, ohio and there are always a ton of people coming over taking pictures and asking about how they were made. They are made from wood and foam and it took 6 months to build Optimus and 2 months to build Bumblebee. This is a display you won’t want to miss!

Transformers Alternity Bumblebee & Cliffjumper

Kind of lookin a little crabby... Not so sure this is a must-have for me.

Car mode, Suzuki Swift

Cliffjumper's bot mode looks better to me than Bumblebee for some reason. Maybe his pointy head matches the body better, or red is just my color. Either way, i'm 51% in favor of getting him!

Transformers Alternity Megatron

The Alternity line continues, with a double sword-wielding version of Megatron as a Nissan Fairlady Z, to round out the lineup. I’m not a big fan of the blue version, and overall this sculpt job looks weak compared to the Convoy models, like they were done as afterthought. But at least He-Man now has his Skeletor (or Barbie now has her Ken?). Set to release this month. I’m still on the fence about getting a silver Alternity Convoy/Magnus, or saving up for a MP Grimlock… Mmmmeee Grimrrrock… Meee King!!!

USA Today Design the Ultimate Transformers Contest

Looks like even the media itself is going to get in on the action for hyping the new upcoming Transformers movie.

“USA TODAY wants you to design us a brand-new Transformer. Show us your idea in both pre- and post-transformation mode and tell us whether your creation is an Autobot or Decepticon and what it does.”

Well, here’s their example. Not that bad for a newspaper article illustration. Seems inspired by a Mirage body and Ultra Magnus coloring.

Apparently, this bot eats trees and spits out overpriced mediocre journalism.
